The Dell PowerEdge R230 is a powerful and efficient first rack server for the SME sector and ROBO (Remote Office/Branch Office). This half depth single socket Intel Xeon application server sports all of the state of the art server features you expect from Dell, but in a lightweight half depth chassis packed with features and with a low power footprint.

The single CPU can be up to the Quad-core Intel Xeon E3-1200 V6 series with 4 DIMM slots supporting up to 16GB of DDR4 per DIMM. Drive bays are up to two 3.5″ SAS or SATA drives or up to two 2.5″ SATA SSD or SAS drives.
